Full Job Description Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assess their flooring needs, preferences, and budget
• Provide expert guidance on flooring products including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet
• Explain product features, benefits, warranties, and care requirements
• Prepare quotes, estimates, and sales orders accurately
• Coordinate with installers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth order fulfillment
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
• Maintain showroom appearance, product displays, and samples
• Stay informed on current flooring trends, promotions, and inventory
• Meet or exceed individual and store sales goals

Qualifications & Skills:

• Previous retail or sales experience preferred (flooring or home improvement experience a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer-service mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Comfortable working with basic math, measurements, and sales software
• Ability to learn product details and technical information
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Occasional lifting of flooring samples or displays (up to 50 lbs) Schedule
• Flexible availability, including weekends as needed
