• 21 per hour, depending on experience Endeavor Eye Center is a small, independent optometry practice in Tacoma's Proctor District.

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated team member to join our practice. This position is a combination of optical sales, front desk support, and training in opticianry and clinical support. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with sales, and wants to learn new skills in the optical and eye care field. Optical experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Position Details Part-time:

approximately 16+ hours per week Potential for full-time: approximately 32+ hours per week Must be available to work full days Thursday and Friday Must also be available for some hours Monday-Wednesday $19

• 21/hour , depending on experience and qualifications Training provided in optical sales, opticianry, and clinical support What You Will Do Optical & Sales Help patients select frames and lenses based on their visual needs, style, and budget Learn about lens options, materials, and eyewear Learn and perform optical measurements and basic frame adjustments Educate patients about their eyewear options and provide personalized service Front Desk & Patient Support Greet patients and provide friendly, professional customer service Answer phones and assist with appointment scheduling Assist with patient check-in and check-out Communicate with patients by phone, text, and email Learn basic insurance and office procedures Support doctors with pre-testing and patient flow as trained Teamwork & Office Support Work closely with doctors and other staff to keep the office running smoothly Assist teammates when the office is busy Complete assigned duties accurately and in a timely manner Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment What We Are Looking For The right candidate is: Dependable, punctual, and responsible Friendly and comfortable talking with patients Professional and able to communicate clearly Comfortable with sales and recommending products Detail-oriented and willing to learn Able to accept training and feedback A team player who is willing to help where needed Motivated to develop new skills and take on additional responsibility Optical, retail sales, customer service, healthcare, or front desk experience is a plus, but is not required.
