Sassy Cow Creamery is a family farmstead creamery and café located in Columbus, Wis., 20 minutes east of Madison. The Creamery bottles 6,000 gallons of milk daily and makes 48,000 gallons of ice cream a year supplying, over 400 stores, restaurants, coffee houses and food service accounts. Each summer, over 10,000 people visit Sassy Cow Creamery for farm and creamery tours. We are looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, engaging and will enjoy seeing the smile on a customer's face when you hand them an ice cream cone filled with our phenomenal Sassy Cow ice cream!! This position would require two evenings per week and one weekend evening (2:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.) The position is eligible for tips on top of the hourly pay. We are looking for someone who can communicate and work well in a team setting. Someone with strong leadership skills, who works well under pressure during mealtime rushes, would love this position.

Responsibilities will include:

Greeting customers in a friendly manner Ability to take food, drink and ice cream orders using our Square POS Preparing and serving food items such as soups, sandwiches, salads, and ice cream. Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized Restocking retail product Answering customers' questions about menu choices Required knowledge, skills, and abilities: Must be able to lift 40 lbs on an occasional basis, 20 lbs on a frequent basis Must be able to read and follow recipes Must be able to stand through the whole shift Must work well in a team, be reliable, and have strong communication skills Must be able to work well in a fast-paced environment, as well as stay occupied with a task list.
