Golf Counter Attendant / Pro Shop Attendant |Seasonal

Description We are seeking a customer-focused Seasonal Golf Counter Attendant / Pro Shop Attendant to join our Golf Operations team. This role is responsible for providing outstanding guest service, managing tee time reservations, processing golf shop sales, supporting tournaments, and maintaining an organized golf retail environment. Ideal candidates enjoy hospitality, golf operations, and working in a fast-paced guest service setting.

Golf Operations / Pro Shop What You'll Do Greet guests warmly at the golf shop counter and provide excellent customer service. Book tee times, check in golfers, and process greens fees. Operate the POS system for merchandise, food, beverage, and golf-related purchases. Assist guests with questions regarding tee times, golf course policies, merchandise, and resort amenities. Support the Head Golf Professional and Assistant Golf Professional with daily golf shop operations. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming golf shop environment. Assist with inventory management, restocking, receiving merchandise, and pricing products accurately. Complete opening and closing procedures, including register balancing and shop readiness. Coordinate with outside services staff and provide direction as needed. Assist with golf tournaments including cart assignments, player registration, pace of play monitoring, score posting, and event preparation. Help create attractive retail displays and merchandise presentations. Requirements What We're Looking For Previous retail, customer service, golf shop, pro shop, hospitality, or cashier experience preferred. Prior POS system experience preferred. Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions. Strong communication and guest service skills. Ability to multitask in a busy seasonal environment. High school diploma or equivalent required. Knowledge of golf operations preferred but not required. ServSafe and TIPS certification preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion. Ability to lift and move merchandise, golf supplies, and tournament materials. Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed. Work Environment Fast-paced golf shop and resort setting. Frequent interaction with guests, golfers, and team members. Indoor retail environment with occasional outdoor duties. Seasonal business volume with peak weekends, holidays, and tournaments.
