Job Description
Cheese Store Team Lead Do you enjoy working with people, staying busy, and being part of a team? Burnett Dairy Cooperative is looking for a Cheese Store Team Lead to help keep our Cheese Store, and Ice Cream areas running smoothly. As a Store Lead, you'll be a go-to person for both our team and our customers. You'll help train and support employees, keep the store looking its best, and make sure our customers have a great experience when they visit Burnett Dairy. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and train Cheese Store team members. Open and close the store and help keep daily operations running smoothly. Welcome customers, answer questions, and provide friendly, helpful service. Operate registers, handle cash, and complete daily deposits. Stock, rotate, price, and label our cheese and other products. Prepare and serve Ice Cream items. Keep the store areas clean and sanitary. Troubleshoot register, inventory, and equipment issues. Help with scheduling and provide backup coverage when needed. Follow all food safety and safety guidelines. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is dependable, positive, customer-focused, and comfortable taking the lead. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Customer service, retail, food service, or leadership experience is a plus. Strong communication and coaching skills. Cash handling/register experience preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and jump in wherever needed. Must be available for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Dependable attendance is required. A Few Other Things to Know Slip-resistant shoes are required. Black/khaki pants or jeans (no holes or leggings) are required. Burnett Dairy logo T-shirt provided! This is an active position that requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Not looking for a lead role? No problem!
