Summary As a Welcome Center Representative for the City of Marinette, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and residents seeking information about our community services. This role is vital in promoting local events, attractions, and resources while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our community's spirit. Responsibilities Greet visitors warmly and provide them with information about city services, events, and attractions. Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle cash with care. Maintain a clean and organized welcome center environment to enhance visitor experience. You may view the full job description on the City of Marinette's Employment page Requirements Proven experience in cash handling and retail operations is preferred. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with the public. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while providing exceptional customer service. Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Work up to 20 hours per week to include Sunday - Saturday. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Hospitality, tourism, or customer service experience (preferred). Strong communication skills and ability to work with a diverse group of visitors. Maintain a valid driver's license. Selection Process We will accept applications until the position is filled.
