Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity Assist with stocking merchandise, merchandising displays, and organizing product inventory on the sales floor Educate customers about featured items or current promotions to encourage upselling opportunities Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support store operations by performing retail math calculations for sales totals, discounts, and returns Participate in merchandising initiatives to keep the store visually appealing and aligned with brand standards Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, but not required, especially with POS systems and cash register operations Supervising experience is a plus for those interested in leadership opportunities Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear product information and excellent customer service Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and basic math skills for daily transactions Ability to handle cash handling responsibilities accurately and responsibly Excellent phone etiquette and professional communication skills are essential for engaging with customers both in-store and over the phone Join us as a Style Encore Team Member where your energy fuels our success!
