JOB OVERVIEW

Join our dynamic retail team as a Retail Counter Associate and become the friendly face that customers rely on! HOURS OF OPERATIONS

Must have a flexible schedule to work to work our retail store hours

Monday-Friday:

• Monday through Friday 7:30am to 5:30pm Saturdays are a must and must be willing to work the open to close:
• Saturdays 7:30am-3:15pm
• CLOSED Sundays & Holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about merchandise. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance. Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure cases are stocked with fresh, appealing products. Assist inventory by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts by the direction of the Retail Management Team. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries professionally via phone or in person, following proper phone etiquette. Assisting in the other areas of the store

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience with POS systems and cashiering is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Strong communication skills Knowledge of retail sales techniques, upselling strategies, and merchandising practices Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
