Duties and responsibilities include:

• Greet customers and provide assistance
• Answer questions about the store and its products
• Clean shelves, counters, and tables
• Calculate prices and purchase totals
• Process cash and credit card payments
• Describe products and encourage customer sales
• Track inventory and re stock shelves
• Open and close registers, count cash, organize transaction records, and balance drawers
• Handle cash and operate a cash register proficiently
• Use basic math for retail transactions and inventory management
• Identify security risks and theft, and follow procedures to prevent and address them
• Stock shelves and coolers
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
