Campground Store Associate Team Leader

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Campground Store Associate to help lead the daily operations of our on-site retail and convenience store. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to all aspects of store management, ensuring a seamless customer experience while maintaining efficient inventory control, sales and team leadership. This position offers an exciting opportunity to help manage a vibrant retail space within a dynamic outdoor recreation setting, ensuring guests have everything they need for an enjoyable stay. Responsibilities Assist with daily store operations, including cashiering, inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability. Manage inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, ordering supplies, pricing strategies, and shrink reduction initiatives. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting to ensure accuracy and security. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote store offerings and enhance guest engagement through effective merchandising and promotional displays. Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and licensing regulations while fostering a welcoming environment with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills. Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills. Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, purchasing procedures, and retail math principles. Knowledge of cashiering procedures, cash handling protocols, and retail sales techniques. Previous experience in grocery or convenience store operations is preferred but not required. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and handle customer concerns professionally. Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays; excellent time management skills are essential.
