Full Job Description Job Summary:
Starbucks Café is hiring an experienced and driven Coffeehouse Leader to take full ownership of a vibrant, high-foot-traffic location with no drive-thru. This is an active, high-energy store with strong guest volume and a loyal community. As the Coffeehouse Leader, you will be the face of the store, the standard-setter for your team, and the primary driver of performance. You'll have the space to make it your own, lead at a high level, and create an experience that keeps guests coming back every day. For the right leader, this is an opportunity to build something meaningful and lasting.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all daily store operations end-to-end — staffing, scheduling, inventory, financial performance, and service standards — as the store's primary leader and decision-maker. Manage a larger team across multiple shifts, maintaining consistency, accountability, and a strong culture even when you're not in the building. Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing partners, building a bench of talent that supports store stability and your own ability to grow. Drive performance across all key metrics — sales, customer experience scores, and labor efficiency — with a data-informed, results-focused approach. Be a visible, hands-on presence on the floor, modeling Starbucks craft and hospitality standards and reinforcing the behaviors that create loyal guests. Own the guest experience from open to close, identifying and resolving issues quickly and instilling a culture of continuous improvement. Partner with leadership on store strategy, development priorities, and broader initiatives that support the team and the business.
Job Requirements:
Experience:
3+ years of store management experience in a retail, food & beverage, or coffeehouse environment, with a track record of strong operational results.
Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a larger team, maintaining culture and performance standards across multiple shifts.
Financial Acumen:
Strong understanding of P&L drivers; manages labor thoughtfully and treats the business like it's yours.
People-First:
Builds loyalty on both sides of the counter — with your team and with your guests.
Composure:
Composed and decisive when the pace picks up — keeps the team grounded and the guest experience on point no matter how busy it gets.
Communication:
Excellent coaching and communication skills; holds high standards with care and develops people while holding the bar.
Availability:
Full-time availability including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; Starbucks or specialty coffee experience strongly preferred.
Wage:
$60,000-$69,000 per year +
Annual Performance Bonus Benefits:
Medical, Dental & Vision:
Health coverage for you and your family. 401(k)
Retirement Plan:
Start saving for your future from day one.
Paid Vacation:
Time away to recharge and come back at your best.
Annual Performance Bonus:
Earn more when your store performs.
Leadership Support:
Resources and backing to help you lead well. College Tuition Assistance
