Oxford Lumber stores are looking for motivated store managers. Store managers are responsible for the day to day operations of the store. Responsibilities include driving store sales and making sure customers are acknowledged and their needs met. Hire, train, and develop a retail staff and provide performance feedback. Regulate inventory to reduce shrinkage and maintain appropriate stock levels. Direct the shipping, receiving, and inventory flow for the store. Forecast scheduling needs to meet customer demand and create work schedules. Delegate workload among associates to meet merchandising and customer care needs. Develop relationships with customers and manage accounts. High school degree and college preferred. Knowledge of hardware and building materials. 3-5 years of managerial experience. Strong leadership and analytical skills. Ability to communicate clearly and value people. Multi- task. Knowledge of retail computer systems. Strong problem solver. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business. Days of operation Monday through Saturday.
