In the Keyholder role, team members directly contribute to this mission by providing excellent customer and donor service, supporting safe and efficient store operations, and generating revenue that funds programs supporting individuals with barriers to employment. SUMMARY The Keyholder serves as a trusted store leader, responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining store security, and ensuring a positive experience for both customers and donors. This role includes opening and closing the store, supervising associates, assisting with merchandising and inventory, and providing coverage in the absence of the Team Leader Coach (TLC) or Assistant Team Leader (ATL). The Keyholder models AGI's values and helps create a supportive, mission-driven store environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Store Operations & Security Open and close the store according to AGI procedures Manage alarm system: arm/disarm, maintain and update codes as needed Handle daily cash operations, including drawer reconciliation and bank deposits Customer and Donor Service Provide courteous, mission-focused service to all customers and donors Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally Promote the impact of donations and purchases in support of AGI's mission Team Leadership Supervise associates during assigned shifts and ensure task completion Provide support during peak hours, including on the sales floor and registers Assist with training and coaching new team members in store procedures and policies Completes hands-on and computer-based training as required and per policy Merchandising & Inventory Ensure store is clean, safe, and organized at all times Restock merchandise and support product rotation as needed Assist with donation processing and inventory movement to the sales floor Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks Loss Prevention & Safety Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and support a safe environment Report any incidents, unsafe conditions, or policy violations to management Leadership Support Act as the designated person in charge in the absence of the TLC or ATL Support day-to-day operations and execution of store plans and goals AGI may assign additional duties as needed in support of its mission and operational goals
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required At least 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service environment Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Dependable, trustworthy, and able to follow all operational and security procedures Alignment with AGI's mission and values Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Frequent lifting/moving of merchandise up to 50 lbs. Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks in a retail environment Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments
