Job Description

Store Manager The Store Manager is accountable for people, customer service, profitable sales, commercial growth, inventory accuracy, safety, asset protection, and day-to-day execution. This is not a title-only position. The manager must set standards, inspect results, address problems promptly, and step into the work when the business requires it, taking full ownership of store. Primary Responsibilities Own store sales, gross profit, operating expense, labor, productivity, customer retention, and commercial growth performance. Build schedules and staffing plans that meet customer demand while controlling labor responsibly. Recruit, select, onboard, train, coach, evaluate, recognize, and when necessary discipline employees under company policy. Set daily and weekly priorities, assign ownership, inspect execution, and close unresolved issues. Maintain high standards for parts accuracy, customer communication, quote follow-up, delivery service, merchandising, and store condition. Protect inventory through disciplined receiving, stocking, transfers, returns, warranties, cores, cycle counts, physical inventory, and discrepancy research. Enforce cash, credit, pricing, discount, tax, security, key, vehicle, and asset-control procedures. Develop commercial and retail business with measurable account plans, outreach, and service improvement. Review operating reports and take timely action on margin erosion, lost sales, aging orders, shrink, overtime, customer complaints, and poor productivity. Maintain a safe workplace and ensure incidents, vehicle events, injuries, and hazards are reported and addressed. Build productive relationships with customers, vendors, distribution partners, company leadership, and other locations. Keep complete, accurate, and timely records; communicate material risks and needs before they become emergencies. What We're Looking For Shows up on time, prepared, and ready to contribute.

• Works with urgency without sacrificing accuracy, safety, or professionalism. Communicates problems early and follows through on commitments. Can organize competing priorities and work without constant supervision. Accepts responsibility, coaching, changing business needs, and complete ownership of the store. Looks for practical ways to help customers, teammates, and the operation succeed. Qualifications Successful automotive parts, retail, distribution, commercial sales, or comparable store-management experience strongly preferred. Demonstrated responsibility for employees, sales, margin, inventory, expenses, customer service, and operational controls. Strong automotive parts, electronic catalog, point-of-sale, commercial account, and inventory knowledge. Proven ability to hire, develop, hold accountable, and retain a productive team. Ability to analyze financial and operating reports and translate them into specific actions. Strong judgment, integrity, communication, planning, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills. Schedule flexibility, dependable attendance, and availability to respond to urgent store needs are required. ASE Certifications are a plus!
