Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced Street Department Supervisor to lead and oversee the daily operations of street maintenance and construction projects. In this vital role, you will coordinate crews, manage heavy equipment, ensure safety compliance, and facilitate efficient roadway repairs and infrastructure improvements. Your leadership will help maintain safe, reliable, and well-maintained streets that serve our community effectively. Duties Supervise and coordinate street maintenance crews engaged in paving, pothole repairs, traffic control setup, and roadway construction activities Operate and oversee heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, front loader trucks, dump trucks, and other construction machinery to ensure proper use and safety Plan daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines efficiently Maintain detailed records of project activities, equipment maintenance, safety incidents, and crew hours Requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members, contractors, and community stakeholders Join us in maintaining our community's streets!
