Wednesdays and Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM About the Role We are a nonprofit organization seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Assistant Store Manager to support daily retail operations. This position is ideal for a dependable leader with retail experience who is passionate about customer service, teamwork, and community impact. The Assistant Store Manager will help oversee store operations, support volunteers, maintain merchandise standards, and assist in creating a positive shopping experience for customers and donors. Responsibilities Assist with daily store operations and overall store performance Support merchandise processing, pricing, stocking, and displays Coordinate donations and ensure proper handling of incoming items Assist with cash handling and register operations Train, support, and work alongside volunteers Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment Deliver outstanding customer service to shoppers and donors Promote store sales, special events, and featured merchandise Communicate policies, procedures, and updates effectively Support store leadership with operational needs as assigned Qualifications Relevant supervisory or retail management experience required Retail experience required Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lead, motivate, and work effectively with volunteers Basic computer skills and familiarity with common office software Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Bilingual skills are a plus Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
