An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

$83,000 - $87,000/year, depending onQualifications Schedule:
In-office, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM What You'll Do Serve as the primary onsite presence for the Commercial function, providing day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and coordination for onsite staff in the absence of remote senior management. Provide best-in-class customer experience through order management, process improvement, and problem-solving Monitor and manage timely sales order processing within SAP Sales and Distribution, maintaining required support documentation Develop financial and sales analysis, presentations, dashboards, and reports (variance analysis, margin analysis, KPI tracking) to support data-driven decision-making Assist with new customer solicitation, bid preparation, and commercial contract review, including financial terms and pricing Perform accounting and financial analysis functions supporting A/P, A/R, customer account reconciliations, and revenue reporting Partner with customers and vendors on billing, payment processing, and financial process improvements Maintain internal and external reporting, including cost analysis, sales performance metrics, and budget-to-actual comparisons Coordinate processing of damage claims and communicate delivery delays with customers alongside Operations and Logistics Liaise with Operations, Logistics, Procurement, and Finance to service customers and support accurate financial reporting Maintain and update internal documentation, including financial and reporting procedures What You'll Bring Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex international documents, regulations, and procedures High proficiency preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial and sales data in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and financial modeling Strong financial and analytical acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Working knowledge of SAP transaction codes (T-Codes) Diligent, proactive attitude with strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with financial data Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with sound independent judgment Collaborative team orientation that prioritizes team success Comfortable serving as the onsite point of contact and informal mentor for staff, exercising sound judgment in the absence of onsite senior management. Education & Experience Associate's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience Background in Agriculture, Logistics, Business Management, Finance, or Accounting preferred, not required Strong customer service or business development experience Experience supporting financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and data-driven decision-making preferred SAP or similar ERP experience preferred, including familiarity with relevant T-Codes Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications; BI/reporting tool experience a plus Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short-term disability (STD) 401(k) with company match Paid time off — vacation and sick leave Professional development and education reimbursement Pre-Employment Requirements This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
