Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately for transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and receipts. Balance Cash Drawer at end of day and reconciling sales data. Stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Manage inventory levels by conducting stock inventory and ensuring products are restocked as they sell. Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a genuine and helpful approach. Assist with visual merchandising strategies to create appealing displays that attract customers, including cohesive window displays Ensure compliance of store Policies and Procedures by upholding standards and maintaining accountability Skills Proven experience in retail sales with a focus on women's fashion, accessories, gifts, and childrens' clothing Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering procedures, including cash handling. Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining customer trust. Knowledge of merchandising principles and stock management techniques. Experience with inventory control, stocking procedures, and visual presentation. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries professionally. Basic math skills for retail math calculations such as discounts, totals, and change handling.
