The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of retail management principles. This role offers an opportunity to manage a vibrant store environment, implement effective merchandising strategies, and drive business growth through effective team management and operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and developing team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to optimize sales and presentation standards. Manage sales processes utilizing POS systems, handle cash transactions accurately, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction. Conduct employee orientation sessions, performance evaluations, and ongoing training & development initiatives. Coordinate purchasing activities, manage inventory control, and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Handle administrative duties such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and maintaining store records with organizational precision. Execute marketing initiatives to promote store products and services effectively within the community. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards at all times. Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and professional demeanor. Requirements Proven management experience in retail settings with supervising responsibilities; assistant manager experience is highly desirable. Strong skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Proficiency with POS systems, retail math, cash handling procedures, and basic bookkeeping/accounting practices. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management, training & development, and employee orientation. Effective communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are advantageous for diverse customer engagement. Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in grocery stores or wireless sales is a plus but not required. Knowledge of marketing strategies and store merchandising techniques is preferred. Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while ensuring optimal staffing levels for peak hours. Strong time management skills with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure.
