The position also needs to support the Store Manager on other matters as assigned.

You Will:

Manage overall department performance, including ordering, inventory control, and promotional planning to achieve sales and operational goals. Monitor market trends and customer feedback to develop effective response strategies. Supervise and support staff performance through coaching, on-the-job training, and teamwork-building initiatives. Ensure product quality, freshness, and cleanliness, including maintaining clean and well-kept fish tanks, and strict FIFO practice. Conduct quality checks during receiving and manage inventory in both display and walk-in coolers. Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, approachable, and responsive to customer needs and concerns. Lead by example by actively participating in all hands-on tasks within the Seafood Department. Fulfill any additional responsibilities as assigned by superiors, contributing to the overall efficiency and success of the department.

You Should Have/Be:

Good communication skills in English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an asset. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a supervisory role preferred, demonstrating strong leadership and training abilities Basic knowledge of profit and loss control; able to interpret data and analyze market trends Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Well-versed in workplace health and safety practices. Strong knowledge of merchandise management, including inventory control and promotional execution Familiar with tools and equipment relevant to the role; able to accurately interpret product labels Excellent organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and customer service skills Self-motivated, accountable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
