Store Manager Cookiez by Sara Foster City, CA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 - $35 an hour 6 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Café experience Attention to detail Packaging Coffee shop experience Retail management Full Job Description Store Manager — Bakery & Café Cookiez by Sara | Foster City, CA Cookiez by Sara is looking for a dependable, organized, and hands-on Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Foster City bakery and dessert café. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of the store, leads by example, holds the team accountable, and makes sure customers consistently receive a great experience. This is a working manager position . You should be comfortable jumping in wherever needed — front of house, barista station, packaging orders, restocking, cleaning, or assisting with bakery operations. Responsibilities Manage daily store operations and ensure shifts run smoothly Lead, train, coach, and supervise team members Maintain high standards for customer service, product quality, cleanliness, and presentation Assign responsibilities and keep employees productive throughout their shifts Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, and employee accountability Assist with employee scheduling and shift coverage Handle customer concerns professionally and resolve issues when possible Oversee opening and closing procedures Monitor inventory and communicate product or supply needs Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked store Operate the POS and assist customers during busy periods Prepare beverages and assist with bakery/café operations as needed Communicate operational issues directly with ownership Help reduce waste, improve efficiency, and maintain consistent store standards What We're Looking For Previous restaurant, bakery, café, or retail management experience Strong leadership and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and highly organized Comfortable holding employees accountable Strong customer-service skills Able to work independently and make good decisions Hands-on leadership style — willing to work alongside the team Able to multitask and stay composed during busy periods Strong attention to cleanliness and detail Barista or food-service experience is a plus Evening and weekend availability required
