Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manager Assistant, Operation to join our team and support the daily functions of our retail operations. This role is vital in ensuring smooth store management, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer service. Duties Support the store manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures Assist with employee orientation, training new staff on POS systems, merchandising, and customer service standards Participate in interviewing and recruiting efforts to build a strong retail sales team Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing to ensure product availability Supervise cashiering activities, cash handling, and POS system operations to maintain accuracy and security Coordinate scheduling shifts and manage staffing levels for optimal store performance Lead sales management initiatives by setting pricing strategies, monitoring sales targets, and motivating team members Conduct employee performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training & development programs Maintain organized bookkeeping records, payroll documentation, and budget tracking Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures Experience Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management responsibilities Strong knowledge of retail math, POS systems, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions Familiarity with merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, and sales management practices Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management skills Basic math skills necessary for bookkeeping, cash reconciliation, and inventory calculations Previous experience with operational management including budgeting and shift supervision is preferred Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering outstanding retail experiences!
