Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Store Manager to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will support the store management team in driving sales, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, sales, inventory control, and customer service activities Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve individual and store sales goals through effective training and coaching Supervise shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring operational efficiency during all hours of operation Oversee inventory management processes including stock replenishment, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory control to maximize product availability and minimize shrinkage Handle cashiering duties using POS (Point of Sale) systems; ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation at shift end Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers; resolve issues promptly while promoting a positive shopping experience Support management in budgeting, sales management, pricing strategies, and operational planning to meet business objectives Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant, or retail store management or assistant manager roles within the industry with supervising responsibilities Strong knowledge of retail math, POS systems, inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling procedures Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment Effective communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Demonstrated ability in employee training & development, and managerial communication Basic math skills for financial transactions, budgeting, and inventory calculations Organizational skills with keen attention to detail; capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently Experience with retail sales management software; familiarity with POS systems preferred A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong time management abilities Join us as an Assistant Store Manager where your energy fuels success!
