Job Description

Position:
Full-Time Store Manager Location:
National City, CA Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
Full-Time (8-hour shifts + 1-hour unpaid break) About the Role We are seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our National City location. In this hands-on leadership role, you will manage team workflow, assist walk-in and mail-in customers with buyback transactions (used electronics, OTC medical/diabetic supplies, retail merchandise), inspect incoming items, and ensure seamless inventory management.
Key Responsibilities Store Leadership:
Oversee daily store operations, maintain high customer service standards, and train/support store staff.
Buyback Operations:
Assist customers with buyback inquiries and process transactions for walk-in and mail-in clients.
Item Inspection & Grading:
Inspect, test, and grade incoming items according to strict store guidelines.
POS & Financials:
Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, accurately handle cash, process payouts, and maintain basic daily financial records.
Inventory & Maintenance:
Monitor store inventory, manage incoming/outgoing stock, and ensure a clean, safe, and organized retail environment.
Qualifications & Requirements Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (able to provide valid ID and complete I-9 verification upon hire).
Reliability:
Exceptionally punctual, trustworthy, and confident working directly with the public.
Technical & Math Skills:
Strong basic math, cash-handling skills, and comfort with learning item inspection software/testing tools.
Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to work varying shifts following the training period.
Work Schedule & Shift Details Probation/Training Period:
10:00 AM - 6:00 PM PST.
Post-Probation:
Flexibility required across two different 8-hour shift schedules (details provided during interview). All shifts include a 1-hour meal break.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate:
$20.00 - $22.00 / hour (based on experience)
