Responsibilities Supervise daily store activities, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and cash handling to ensure smooth operations. Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management. Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, and recruiting efforts to build a strong retail team aligned with company goals. Manage inventory control processes such as stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and pricing to optimize product availability and presentation. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and cash register reconciliation using POS (Point of Sale) systems to maintain accurate financial records. Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards and company directives. Coordinate shift management and scheduling to meet customer demand while maintaining efficient staffing levels. Skills Proven experience in supervising retail teams with strong leadership and management capabilities. Excellent communication skills including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational skills. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for retail math calculations. Strong negotiation skills for purchasing negotiations and vendor relations. Ability to conduct interviews effectively and perform employee orientation and training sessions. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and store management best practices. Experience with budgeting, sales management, operational management, and inventory control processes.
