In this position, you'll be a key member of a store that has been family owned and operated for 50 years. Your job will be an essential component of the store's daily operations, and can involve overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your proactive approach and management skills will help foster a motivated team environment while maintaining high standards of sales performance, inventory control, and store presentation. Duties Supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, overseeing other departments' daily duties, and interacting and managing appointments with vendors and sales representatives Lead and motivate a diverse team of sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing, and stock control to maximize sales opportunities Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty Support recruiting efforts by participating in training new staff members, representing an exemplary Zanotto's employee Coordinate and/or adjust shift schedules, monitor sales performance, and contribute to the implementation of marketing initiatives to boost store traffic and revenue Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop team members Organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency preferred Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, POS systems, merchandising, and retail math Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and perform bookkeeping tasks efficiently Knowledge of sales management and store operations Skilled in negotiation, customer service excellence, and conflict resolution Experience with recruiting, employee orientation, training & development programs preferred Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus Strong phone etiquette and administrative experience necessary for smooth store functioning
