Sales Associates Position Summary The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue and client relationships within the store while executing company standards and priorities. This role leads both sales performance and the day-to-day development of the sales team, and serves as the highest-level position on the store floor. The Sales Manager is a selling leader first, with additional accountability for team coaching, inventory coordination, and operational execution. Sales and Clienteling Maintain an active personal selling practice and cultivate VIP client relationships. Coach the sales team on selling behaviors, clienteling techniques, and performance standards. Ensure consistent and disciplined use of the CRM system, including client follow-up and outreach. Monitor individual and team sales performance against goals and address gaps proactively. Drive conversion, average transaction value, and units per transaction across the team. Lead by example on the floor, demonstrating clienteling and product knowledge best practices. Team Leadership Provide consistent day-to-day coaching and feedback to Sales Associates. Create and manage team schedules within company labor guidelines. Identify hiring needs and talent gaps and communicate them to the General Manager. Recommend hires, promotions, and performance actions to leadership for review and approval. Support onboarding and training of new team members to ensure alignment with brand standards. Foster a positive, professional team culture consistent with the brand's values. Inventory Oversee the receiving, processing, and floor placement of incoming inventory. Coordinate transfers and stock adjustments with Operations in accordance with company processes. Ensure the sales floor is fully stocked, organized, and reflecting current merchandising standards. Conduct regular inventory counts and communicate discrepancies or concerns to the General Manager. Monitor product availability and proactively communicate low stock or replenishment needs. Ensure all inventory-related tasks are completed by the team accurately and on schedule. Execution and Store Standards Ensure brand and operational standards are maintained consistently on the sales floor. Identify issues early and escalate through the appropriate channel rather than resolving them outside established processes. Maintain visual merchandising standards in partnership with Operations. Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed consistently by the team. Monitor the overall store environment and flag maintenance or facility concerns to the appropriate party. Company Initiatives and Communication Execute company campaigns, systems rollouts, and strategic priorities at the store level. Communicate relevant company updates and priorities clearly to the sales team. Provide structured feedback to the General Manager on store needs, team performance, and client trends. Participate in pilots and change initiatives as directed by company leadership. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications 3+ years of luxury retail, premium retail, fashion, or hospitality experience preferred. Proven track record of personal sales performance and client development. Experience coaching or leading a sales team in a retail environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency with CRM systems and a disciplined approach to client follow-up. Familiarity with retail inventory processes including receiving, transfers, and stock management. Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor aligned with a luxury brand environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods during a shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Ability to move throughout the store and stockroom as needed.
Pay:
$90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
