Manage cashiering activities, including POS (Point of Sale) systems, cash handling, and pricing accuracy. Coordinate employee orientation, onboarding, and ongoing training to develop a knowledgeable and customer-focused team. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and selecting qualified staff members. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism via phone etiquette and in-person interactions, ensuring high levels of customer service. Assist with payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and basic math calculations related to sales and budgets. Implement operational policies related to purchasing, inventory management, and operational management to optimize store efficiency. Contribute to budgeting efforts by monitoring expenses and sales performance to meet financial goals. Experience Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry is essential. Demonstrated supervisory experience with a strong background in team management and leadership development.
