Apply Job Type Full-time Description Gills Point S is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager in Training to join our team. This role is designed to develop future leaders by providing hands-on experience in all aspects of retail store operations, team leadership, and customer service. As an Assistant Manager in Training, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day operations while building the skills needed to successfully lead a store. This includes sales performance, team development, operational execution, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. What You'll Do Support store leadership in driving sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals Assist in supervising and developing team members, including hiring, onboarding, and training Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve team performance and productivity Help manage scheduling, payroll, and labor efficiency to meet company targets Ensure a consistently high-quality customer experience through daily operational oversight Monitor shop productivity and workflow to maximize efficiency Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards Assist in managing inventory, supplies, and equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment Step in to lead the store in the absence of the Store Manager Requirements What We're Looking For Previous experience in retail, automotive, or service-based environments preferred Leadership potential with a strong desire to grow into a management role Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Customer-first mindset with a focus on delivering excellent service Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of sales, operations, and team management concepts Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility What We Offer Competitive pay Structured training and development program Clear path to Store Manager opportunities Medical, dental, and vision benefits Paid time off and holidays Stable, full-time schedule Supportive, team-oriented culture Why Gills Point S?
