An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Maintain a healthy, safe and secure environment by following and enforcing food safety, safety and sanitation guidelines and comply with all applicable State and Federal laws. Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, staffing and the development of employees through training and mentoring. Maximize profitability and hit sales goals by controlling food, beverage and labor costs. Assist in executing all in-restaurant marketing promotions and new product rollouts in a timely manner. Follow and maintain quality and guest service standards including drive-through times. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing superior customer service and prompt problem resolution to guest complaints. Manage inventory and order food and beverages, equipment and supplies as needed.Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:
Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Has OPEN availability, and is flexible to work weekends, evenings, early mornings, holidays, and long shifts, when needed. Restaurant, retail or supervisory experience is required. Advanced math and financial management skills. Must be able to fluently speak and read English. Basic computer and writing skills.
