Job Overview:

We are hiring a hands-on Retail Store Manager to lead our retail outlet. This role requires strong retail experience, excellent merchandising instincts, and the ability to manage both people and product in a high-volume, open-warehouse environment. The Store Manager is responsible for setting the tone for store operations across both weekly inventory preparation and live retail execution, ensuring the store is organized, fully stocked, and delivering a consistent shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all daily store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and floor execution
• Manage and develop store team members, including direct oversight of the Assistant Store Manager
• Oversee inventory preparation, merchandising, and floor setup Monday through Wednesday
• Ensure the store is fully merchandised and customer-ready for Thursday opening
• Maintain high merchandising standards and product presentation
• Be physically present on the floor, leading by example and supporting the customer experience
• Handle store openings/closings, cash handling, and daily walkthroughs
• Oversee layout adjustments and traffic flow strategies during high-volume periods
• Collaborate with ownership to identify operational improvements

Candidate Profile:

• 3+ years of retail management experience (off-price or warehouse-style preferred)
• Strong merchandising skills and product presentation instincts
• Passion for retail, product, and customer engagement
• Comfortable working weekends and extended hours
• Experience with retailers such as TJX, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, or similar preferred
• Hands-on, organized, and capable of building an accountable team culture
