Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable person in wine and liquors who can manage a premium domestic/exotic wine & spirit shop in West Hartford, CT . As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a positive work environment. Wine & Liquor Store Manager Responsibilities:
Organize products and maintain clean appearance of the store Restock shelves, manage inventory and update products orders based on demand.. Handle cash register, checkouts and other administrative duties. Daily closing with sales report and reconcile cash/credit/debit/electronic sales with POS report. Help and guide customers with product selections and answering questions. Receive deliveries from distributors, update inventory and stock them. Prepare online orders, package and keep it ready for Fedex pickup. Run weekly inventory and provide reports for high/low demand products. Host wine tasting and other seasonal promotional events. Run weekly specials to increase customer base and store sales. Provide best-in-class customer service and address customer issues quickly. Keep updated with wine industry trends and state liquor regulations.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience working as wine and spirit store manager. High school or equivalent, Associate (Preferred) Excellent communication and customer service skills Knowledge of wines, spirits, and industry trends. Nice to have
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales and management, preferably in a liquor store setting.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency with cash handling and POS systems.
- Experience with inventory management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and sales growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
