Responsibilities Assist with daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and stock replenishment Support sales efforts through customer service, cashiering, and product knowledge Participate in employee orientation, training, and development initiatives Help supervise staff during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures Manage POS systems, pricing strategies, and sales transactions accurately Contribute to marketing efforts and promotional activities to increase store traffic and sales Support purchasing decisions and inventory control to optimize stock levels Assist with bookkeeping tasks such as payroll processing and cash handling Engage in recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing and onboarding new team members Uphold excellent phone etiquette and communication skills when interacting with customers and team members Collaborate with management on budgeting, sales management, and organizational planning Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or supervisory roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong leadership qualities with a focus on team management and development Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, inventory management, and cash handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment with shift management responsibilities Organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising, stock control, and administrative tasks Experience with marketing, merchandising, or grocery store operations is advantageous Demonstrated ability to handle customer service situations professionally and courteously Basic knowledge of budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and retail math principles Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential This Store Manager - In Training position provides valuable hands-on experience in retail operations while fostering leadership development.
