Job Summary:
As the Store Manager at Smoothie King, you will be the leader of the store's operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service, team performance, and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, driving sales, maintaining inventory, upholding food safety and cleanliness standards, and leading a team of passionate employees. Your leadership will play a key role in creating a positive work environment and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Recruit, hire, train, and onboard team members. Motivate, inspire, and coach the team to achieve daily performance goals. Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages collaboration, accountability, and high morale. Provide continuous feedback and support to ensure team members' growth and development. Manage employee scheduling, timekeeping, and labor costs.
Customer Service:
Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service. Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly and professionally. Maintain a positive, energetic atmosphere that enhances the customer experience. Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and service standards.
Operational Management:
Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Ensure store cleanliness and organization according to Smoothie King's standards. Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and reduce waste. Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients to maintain food safety standards. Manage cash handling, register operations, and daily financial reporting.
Sales & Financial Performance:
Drive sales through effective team management, promotions, and customer engagement. Meet and exceed sales goals and other key performance metrics. Analyze financial data and store reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Monitor store expenses, including labor and food costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all health, safety, and food safety regulations are strictly followed. Conduct regular safety and cleanliness audits. Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail or food service management, preferably in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hiring, training, and developing employees. Strong understanding of customer service and sales strategies.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven decisions. Proficiency in basic computer software (POS systems, Microsoft Office, etc.). Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks as needed. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Why Join Us?
