Job Description
Hiring Company Description The position that we are looking to fill is a high-energy retail store manager role. This position is ideal for someone that has a passion for sales and customer service, while managing their own store and creating results. This person will have responsibility for managing retail golf cart sales and service well as responsibilities of managing their own store. Position Responsibilities
- Selling and executing on golf cart sales to existing and new customers. Managing battery and parts sales to walk-in customers or over the phone.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Generate sales and call on potential customers that were walk-ins, or call on area businesses to introduce Company while looking for service work or commercial sales.
- Manage normal store operating procedures from opening/closing store, recording cash and other receipts, daily clearing of credit card machines, managing inventory, keeping store product and space clean and professional, bringing cart stock in & out each day, managing and calling on store A/R, working with corporate accounting staff as needed, buying parts when needed, managing a store driver and/or service technician, reporting work hours for proper weekly payroll.
- Working with other store managers, the owner, and other company relationships to facilitate company objectives, to support other company needs, to be a partner and contributor to company growth. As a small business, every person matters and every person wears multiple hats to help sales and operations flow smoothly.
- Running a golf cart service department and managing 1-2 techs. Billing and communicating with customers regarding the service of their golf cart. Qualifications
- Requires a passion for sales and being around people.
- Requires independence in work ability, follow through, and setting priorities as this role will be the key store manager executing sales and operations for the store location.
- Experience with the golf cart industry is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to quickly learn about key selling features and benefits.
- Experience in Outlook or another email program and Excel is critical to success.
- Good communication skills and organizational skills are required to succeed.
- A team player is required.
