A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

  • Assist with managing ground-up retail and commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout.
  • Support budgeting, cost tracking, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
  • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports to keep projects on track.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, field teams, and trade partners throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in site visits, project meetings, safety initiatives, and quality control efforts.

  • 3-5 years of commercial construction experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager role.
  • Experience supporting ground-up commercial, retail, education, industrial, or mixed-use projects.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with a desire to advance into project management.
