Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Sales and Front Desk Associate to join our dynamic team! In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while managing sales transactions efficiently. Your enthusiasm and communication skills will help create a welcoming environment, drive sales through upselling and product demonstrations, and ensure smooth daily operations at the front desk. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop retail and customer service skills in a lively, fast-paced setting. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customer engagement and sales. Manage retail sales transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a customer-first approach. Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to enhance store presentation. Supervise front desk operations, ensuring a clean, organized environment and efficient flow of customers. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining a positive attitude at all times. Qualifications Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery or similar environments. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, and cash handling procedures. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus. Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are desirable. Ability to perform merchandising tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively. Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and retail sales transactions is highly valued. Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environments will be advantageous.
