TheTAX DEPARTMENT MANAGER / SENIOR TAX SPECIALIST
is a full-time, on-site role based in Sanford, FL. We are looking for an experienced Tax Specialist with a strong working knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code (IRC), IRS Regulations, and Circular 230 requirements, who is ready to take on a key role within our Tax Department. The position will include preparing complex tax returns, reviewing tax returns prepared by Tax Preparers, organizing and managing the workflow of the Tax Department, mentoring and supervising team members, conducting tax research, and handling IRS notices and amended returns.Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Tax Preparer. Strong knowledge of individual and business taxation, including state taxation and multi-state filing requirements. Experience with Forms 1040, 1040-NR, 1065, 1120-S, 1120, and 990. Experience handling IRS notices, amended returns, and conducting tax research. Strong attention to detail and a high level of responsibility for the quality and accuracy of work. Ability to independently organize and manage workload and priorities. Ability to work effectively under high workload and tight deadlines during tax season. Willingness to work weekends during tax season. Experience with professional tax preparation software is a plus. CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) credential is preferred. Knowledge of the Russian language is a plus.What We Offer:
