A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

Job Description
Manage team by setting expectations, and providing training, coaching, accountability and performance evaluations.
Motivate the store team to meet and exceed retail sales and profitability goals while providing excellent customer service.
Execute daily communication with store team to review sales performance, sales goals, current promotions, and any pertinent company directives or information.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying trends and opportunities.
Maintains accurate inventories, manifests, documentation, and reports.
Support inventory processes and investigations as necessary.
Provide feedback, training & guidance to improve staff knowledge and performance.
Maintain results by coaching, counseling and disciplining employees.
Resolve customer complaints.
Execute visual standards and marketing initiatives Complete administrative tasks as needed.
Accommodate a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ensure compliance with Company SOPs and state regulationsProtect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment.
Champion a safety culture where employees follow safety guidelines and regulationsBehave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork.
Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Must be at least 21 years of age.
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required.
At least 3 years of leadership experience required.
Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally.
