An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

St. Francis Hospice (SFH) is growing, and we need a Thrift Store Assistant Sales Manager to join our new thrift store team. SFH is a well-established, mission-driven healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional hospice and palliative care services throughout our community. Responsible for the daily thrift store operation to include; Store opening/closing procedure (cash management, merchandising, scheduling staff and volunteers, and sales) Organizing donation pick-up and delivery Training volunteers and staff Organizing weekly promotions and sales
Requirement:
Proven management skills in a retail environment. Excellent people skills. Ability to manage expenses in order to maximize profit.
