One of the most active communities north of Atlanta, this location serves a high-energy mix of commuters, residents, and families who make great coffee a daily priority. As a Coffeehouse Supervisor, you'll work side by side with the Coffeehouse Leader to keep the store thriving — helping lead the team, supporting partners, keeping customers happy, and making sure operations run smoothly day to day. From coaching and developing Baristas and Shift Leads to managing inventory and store goals, you'll play a key role in shaping the store's success. This role is all about balancing people and operations — building a strong team culture while driving results and delivering the Starbucks Experience. What You'll Do Partner with the Coffeehouse Leader to lead daily store operations and help drive the store toward its goals Coach and develop Baristas and Shift Leads, providing real-time feedback on drink craft, recipes, and Starbucks brand standards Help oversee inventory — ordering, receiving, and stock levels — to keep the store fully equipped and guest-ready Support scheduling and shift coverage, stepping in to lead the floor as needed Ensure the team consistently delivers the Starbucks Experience to every guest Help build and maintain a strong team culture that supports partner engagement and retention Monitor store performance against goals and help implement action plans to improve results Step in for the Coffeehouse Leader when needed, acting as the floor leader and decision-maker Handle guest concerns with confidence and care, turning a difficult moment into a reason to come back Maintain cleanliness, safety, and operational standards across the store Who You Are You have at least 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality You're a natural leader who can coach, motivate, and develop a team You're comfortable balancing people-focused and operations-focused responsibilities You communicate clearly — with your team and with your Coffeehouse Leader You're detail-oriented — inventory accuracy, drink quality, and store standards matter to you You stay calm and focused under pressure and can make quick decisions on the floor You're genuinely warm with guests and partners alike — hospitality isn't a script for you, it's just how you operate You're comfortable with the tech side of the role: POS systems, scheduling tools, and daily reporting Starbucks experience is a plus but not required — we can teach the craft; we can't teach the attitude You're comfortable following Starbucks appearance standards (solid black top, black or khaki bottoms, slip-resistant shoes, apron provided) — full dress code shared at interview What We Offer $18 - $20/hr + Tips — competitive pay based on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance available for full-time employees 1 free drink per shift in your reusable cup + 50% off additional drinks PTO available for full-time employees 50% off food items every shift Quarterly performance bonuses for attendance & standards 30% off retail merchandise including packaged coffee $500 Coffee Master certification bonus Flexible scheduling — we work around your life Profit-sharing bonus potential tied to store performance Real growth path — we promote from within Work in Alpharetta's vibrant Market District, one of Metro Atlanta's most sought-after communities A family-run company where you're known by name, not a number Starbucks recognition programs and brand training 401(k) retirement plan available Requirements Must be 18 or older 1-2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in food service, retail, or hospitality Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Available for a mix of morning, midday, and closing shifts including weekends Must be authorized to work in the United States Food handler certification required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire) About Cup of Joe Cafes Cup of Joe Cafes, LLC is a Starbucks licensed operator with locations across the Gulf Coast and Southeast.
