In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure excellent customer service, and maintain optimal inventory levels. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve sales goals while fostering a positive shopping environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about retail management and operational excellence. Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies. Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members, providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development. Manage sales performance by setting targets, monitoring progress, and implementing strategies to maximize revenue. Oversee inventory management, including stock control, purchasing, merchandising, pricing, and inventory audits to prevent shrinkage. Handle payroll processing, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems management, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and maintaining high standards of communication skills. Supervise shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet operational needs while maintaining a productive team environment. Skills Prior experience in the Liqour Industry. Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with strong leadership capabilities. Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective managerial communication to motivate teams and build vendor relationships. Demonstrated proficiency in employee orientation, interviewing techniques, recruiting strategies, and training & development programs. Strong organizational skills with expertise in inventory control, stock management, merchandising, and POS systems operation. Sound knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, sales management, and basic financial analysis. Experience with cashiering procedures, cash handling protocols, payroll processing, and bookkeeping practices. Familiarity with wireless sales products or grocery store operations is a plus; excellent time management and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
