Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Store Manager for a Harper tools, Inc (DBA Snap-on Tools) where you will spearhead daily operations, drive sales growth, and foster an exceptional customer experience. This energetic role requires a proactive leader who thrives in managing your route and time, optimizing inventory, and ensuring smooth store functions. As a Store Manager you are expected to all maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. You should enjoy what you do and being a tool dealer can be a highly enjoyable job. Responsibilities Provide the best customer service you can. Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, chrome POS systems, and inventory control. Sell tools and manage accounts. Keep to an efficient schedule and learn to adapt and manage your time. Maintain accurate bookkeeping. Implement inventory management practices to keep your truck organized and clean. Ability to lift over 50lbs. Trustworthy and honest. Good driving record and experience driving a box truck. Travel to and from Toccoa everyday. Experience Proven management experience in retail industry sales teams or store management roles with supervising responsibilities. Strong background in sales retail or otherwise with excellent customer service skills and product knowledge of tools or related hardware products. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, computer efficiency and inventory management. Experience with POS systems, purchasing procedures, pricing strategies, and cash handling is essential. Excellent organizational skills combined with effective communication abilities; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail environments is highly desirable.
