Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our service department. The Service Manager will oversee daily operations, manage a team of technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership, automotive expertise, and a dedication to maintaining high operational standards. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and timely completion of services. Manage, train, and motivate a team of tire technicians and service staff to deliver high-quality work. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing service recommendations. Monitor and maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the service department. Coordinate with parts and inventory teams to ensure availability of tires, wheels, and supplies. Review and approve repair orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing, labor, and service descriptions. Implement and track performance metrics to improve service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the sales team to promote services and meet revenue goals. Maintain shop equipment, ensuring proper functionality and scheduling regular maintenance. Prepare reports on service department performance, including productivity, profitability, and customer feedback. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in business, automotive technology, or related field preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Strong knowledge of tire and wheel services, including installation, alignment, and repair processes. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on building client relationships. Proficiency in shop management software and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to improve operations. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. ASE certification or equivalent automotive certifications are a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment. Ability to inspect vehicles and equipment as needed.
