Gelato Shop Store Manager Pay:

Full-time Job Summary We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our gelato shop. If you love providing excellent customer service, managing teams, and working in a fast-paced, fun environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate a team of staff members, including hiring, training, coaching, supervising and scheduling. Encourage a team with a growth mindset and ensure smooth store operations to maintain a friendly, welcoming environment.

Daily Operations:

Manage daily openings and closings, POS system (Toast), and cash handling as needed.

Inventory & Ordering:

Monitor inventory of gelato flavors, cones, cups, toppings, paper goods, etc and place orders through gelato app as needed. Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory control.

Quality Control:

Ensure the gelato display is fully stocked, visually appealing, clean, and stored at proper temperatures. Ensure all gelato and drink products meet quality standards.

Customer Service:

Step in to assist customers, handle complaints smoothly, and maintain a high standard of hospitality.

Compliance:

Monitor and enforce food safety practices, including proper food handling, health department codes, and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications Experience:

1-2 years of shift lead, supervisor, or management experience (experience in retail, coffee shops, ice cream shops, bakeries, or quick-service restaurants is a plus).

Skills:

Strong communication, scheduling, and basic computer skills. Strong background in food preparation and kitchen management within casual dining or hospitality settings.

Demonstrated :

Leadership skills with experience in supervising teams, staff training, and development. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as interviewing, team management, and customer service interactions.

Certifications:

• Food Handler certification (preferred, or willing to obtain).

Availability:

• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (our busiest times).
