Job Description
Job Overview We're looking for a book lover with great organizational skills and teamwork to join our team! This role will be the General Manager's eyes and ears on the bookstore side of I'll Meet You There, reporting directly to the GM. The core mandate is to keep inventory healthy, forward-looking, and well organized across books and sideline merchandise, while keeping the whole staff equipped to sell what's in the store. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role. It suits someone who is naturally curious about books and publishing trends, comfortable with numbers and reporting, and organized enough to build systems other people can follow. Core Responsibilities Inventory Management & Reordering Pre-ordering New Release Titles Monitoring Book Trends Assisting with Planning for and Leading Book Clubs Monitoring Aging Stock Merchandise/Side-Line Item Inventory Organizing Stock Rooms Communicate and Collaborate Regularly with the GM Experience Previous experience at a book store, library, or in the book industry Strong leadership and communication skills A passion for books, coffee, and community Organized and task driven Comfortable using POS systems and basic software Inventory management experience Ability to multitask and stay oganized in a fast-paced enviornment If you have a passion for creating community and connection, with pervious leadership/book experience , this could be the perfect fit!
