ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting the Store Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Store Manager in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies to achieve store sales targets and profitability.
• Supervise and motivate a team of retail sales associates to provide excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Assist in buying decisions by providing input on product selection, pricing, and promotions.
• Ensure that all employees adhere to company policies and procedures, including phone etiquette and customer service standards.
• Assist in training and development of new hires, as well as ongoing training for existing staff.
• Oversee inventory control processes to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with the Store Manager to manage payroll and scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail management or assistant store management is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of retail sales principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Proficient in inventory control systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with training and development techniques.
