May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Selected Assistant Managers In Training will receive specific training and development to prepare them for Assistant Store Manager opportunities in the company. Qualified Assistant Manager In Training candidates have a minimum of two years experience in retail. Previous experience in supervision and training are strongly preferred. Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills are a must. You must have a valid drivers license and auto insurance. You must be able to pass a background check. As an Assistant Manager you must be willing to work at any of our Des Moines metro locations. Team Thrift is a wonderful place to reach your full potential in retail store management .
