This versatile role is designed for energetic individuals who thrive in a nurturing environment and are passionate about supporting young children's growth and development. As a Floater/Closer, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere, ensuring smooth daily operations, and providing exceptional care and supervision for children of various ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a supportive learning environment while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education and childcare. Responsibilities Provide flexible coverage across multiple classrooms, stepping in where needed to support teachers and ensure continuity of care. Assist with child supervision, engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote development and social skills. Support classroom management by maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with safety standards and licensing regulations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns that arise. Help implement curriculum plans focused on childhood development, including preschool activities, toddler care, and infant care routines. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and safety protocols such as pediatric first aid, CPR, and child abuse prevention policies. Close classrooms at the end of the day by organizing materials, completing documentation, and preparing for the next day's activities. Skills
IMPECCABLE RELIABILITY
Strong work ethic Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and classroom management techniques. Certification or training in first aid, CPR, pediatric first aid, or related safety procedures. Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration. Ability to adapt quickly to changing needs within multiple classrooms or environments. Familiarity with special education practices or working with children with disabilities is a plus. Demonstrated caregiving skills including behavior management, toddler care, infant care, and nannying or babysitting experience.
