Sales Manager

Duties Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure optimal product presentation and availability. Conduct hiring interviews, onboarding sessions, and ongoing training to build a skilled and knowledgeable team. Manage store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and daily administrative tasks. Monitor store performance through sales data analysis, retail math calculations, and budgeting to identify growth opportunities. Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store procedures while fostering a positive work environment. Skills Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence customer purchasing decisions effectively. Proven experience in retail sales management with supervisory or assistant manager roles preferred. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly advantageous. Demonstrated leadership in recruiting, training & development, employee orientation, and team management. Proficiency in inventory control, pricing strategies, merchandising, marketing initiatives, and POS systems. Sound knowledge of retail math including budgeting, sales forecasting, and financial reporting. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities such as shift management, stock stocking, and inventory management efficiently.
